With dog boarding services by Puppy Charm, you can go away without having to worry about your furry family members. No matter how much we love them, sometimes we just can’t take them with us.
Whether you’re going away on a business trip or taking a vacation, you can be rest assured that your dog is enjoying their own vacation with us in their premium accommodations, engaging in so many adventures that the time will fly by.
Our Boarding has nine standard 6×4 suites, five cozy 4×4 suites and one luxury 6×10 suite. All of our suites have a large raised cot for sleeping while our luxury suite has a full sized toddler bed with a small television. All boarders will have full access to our daycare activities and play programming. We strive to provide your pet with the same care and love they receive at home, with many more friends for them to interact with.
All our staff are highly qualified professionals who have been in the animal care industry for many years. They are very compassionate, loving, patient, and knowledgeable in this industry. ** While our operating hours are designed to accommodate client traffic, we ensure that staff are available to care for our boarders every evening until 10:30 PM. Additionally, on Sundays, we focus exclusively on our boarders during the midday and evening, and are closed to the public during those times.

Boarding Policies
FOOD
Owners must provide enough of their pets food for the entire duration of their stay. We recommend to add an additional day in case unforeseen circumstances arise this will help avoid changes in the dog’s diet, which can lead to increased stress and stomach issues. Individual meals can be packaged in sealed containers/bags per length of stay. We accommodate all food types as we have a fridge/ freezer for storage of fresh, or raw meals. Edible treats are welcome. Any chew bones provided must be fully edible and digestible.
MEDICATION
Make sure medication is labeled clearly by your current Veterinarian and that dosage instructions are included. It is helpful to provide any treat that helps you administer their medication at home.
SAFETY PROTOCOLS
We want to ensure our clients as an added reassurance we have around the clock measures in place for your pets’ safety incase of emergencies. There is an emergency caretaker available on-site to ensure a quick response if needed while staff are not present. We have multiple security cameras throughout the property that can be monitored remotely, along with smoke alarms that send alerts directly to our mobile devices. These measures enhance our commitment to safety and security for your pets. Your peace of mind is our priority.
FLEA AND TICK PREVENTION
All dogs must be on a flea and tick prevention program. We will ask for proof along with obtaining the proof of vaccinations by continuing care with your current Veterinarian. Should you apply flea and tick medication to your dog on a day they are coming in for boarding, they will NOT be allowed to participate in group play/walks for 24 hours. This is for the safety of our staff and the other dogs in the facility that would come in contact with the medication.
CANCELLATION POLICY
Please note that we are a quaint facility and have limited rooms available for our guests. Because of this, we ask that you honor our cancellation policy. We require a 20% deposit that is non refundable within two weeks of your stay for all boarding. If you must cancel, and you do not do so within 72 hours of your stay, your card will be charged the full amount of your stay.
EMERGENCY
For minor injuries and ailments, our medical professionals will assess and address them as they see fit. We will contact you (or your emergency contact) and your veterinarian if necessary.
In case of an emergency during regular business hours, we will contact your current veterinarian on file or the closest veterinary clinic to our location for immediate care. After hours and on weekends, if needed, we will transport your dog to a 24-hour Veterinary Emergency Center.
BELONGINGS
Puppy Charm boarding provides beds, toys and enrichment, water and food bowls for our guests. You are welcome to bring a blanket or bedding or one comfort item. If you do decide to bring these please be sure items are can be clearly labeled and be aware if they get soiled we may not have the means to wash them. No squeaky or noise-making toys will be put with them in their lodging suite. Puppy Charm is not responsible for any lost or damaged items while we do our best to have everything labelled and organized in their personal storage bins.
HEALTH
All lodging guests like our daycare visitors requires a veterinary verified proof of vaccinations for DA2PP, Rabies, and Bordatella given at least 7 days prior to boarding. PLEASE NOTE: If your dog has any health conditions that we should know about please let us know when scheduling their stay and update any new health history prior to your arrival so we can best accommodate!
Dogs over 8 months MUST be spayed or neutered. Dogs over 8 months that are not spayed or neutered will not be allowed in the facility. Medical discussions with your veterinarian may be accepted if your pets personality has exceed the unaltered testing and they have been with us since a very young age.
** Please note the Bordetella vaccine is not a mandatory vaccine and may not be administered during your pets annual vaccination visit. Please let your Vet know your pet visits a Daycare/Boarding centre or Grooming salon.
TEMPERAMENT
Puppy Charm requires all dogs to pass a staff-administered temperament test prior to boarding. Please call us to schedule. If your pet can’t engage in the daycare play they will not be accepted as a lodging guest. Our groups are consistently monitored so we have an eye for catching any unwanted behaviour early before escalation. Yet if we have had the discussion with you about your pets behaviour it will be a “three strike” policy. We have a “one strike” injury policy for the safety of all of our clients. We do not tolerate fights, aggressive behaviour or any other behaviours that make our daycare and hotel unsafe for the other dogs.
WAIVERS
All lodging quests are expected to read and sign our liability waiver and know the rules before leaving your dog at our facility.
