Our Team provides knowledgeable, caring, and passionate grooming, daycare, and boarding services ensuring a professional, safe, and fun environment for your dog to feel fresh, play, stay, and socialize.
At Puppy Charm, we focus on providing comfort and joy for your pets while giving you peace of mind. Our services are tailored to each pet’s standard, personality, needs, and comfort level. While dogs may share similarities, each one is unique in their mindset and desires. With many of our staff holding a multitude of certificates, training, and education in animal welfare, we hold ourselves to the highest standards to create the best environment for your pet. Whether it’s skin and coat care, playtime, mental stimulation, or extended stays, we are committed to ongoing education and using the latest methods to ensure your pet receives the attention they deserve. Meet our team below, dedicated to making you and your pet feel like family with all the services we offer.
Puppy Charm staff hold diplomas, memberships, and certifications with the Ontario Association of Veterinary Technicians, Ontario Dog Grooming Association, and the Canadian Professional Pet Stylist. Our staff include three Registered Veterinary Technicians on top of 90% of them completing current K9 CPR and First Aid Training.
Chantelle
RVT – Owner
Chantelle has been working in the animal welfare industry since 2004, starting in Veterinary medicine, RVT, then grooming as well as animal behaviourist.
She started out early with high school co-op to then be hired for a summer job at a Veterinary Clinic prior to graduating from the Veterinary Technician program in 2007. She pursued her career in the west coast of Canada and then endured the trip of a lifetime as a Vet Tech in the wild in South Africa. Returning home to then become a professional dog groomer and certified animal behaviourist, followed by returning to her roots as a RVT working in shelter medicine and high volume spay and neuter. Continuously grooming occasionally, part time and then the desire to make grooming her full time passion came in 2016. She continues to participate in a number of canine sports, competitions and preservation breeding with her Cavalier King Charles Spaniels and Bichons. When not with her furry friends who run her household she has two beautiful and ambitious children and husband who supports her in all her adventures. She has completed her certification for bather brusher, intermediate stylist, terrier, and non-sporting grooming and is eagerly working towards her master groomer title.
Paige
Groomer
Paige is a fun, patience and compassionate person who loves working with animals of all kinds, big and small.
She has worked as a bather for three years then achieved her groomer diploma after completing her work book education and apprenticeship. She has now been a groomer for four years and continues to enjoy learning the art of grooming. At home she has her big dog Annie, a Rottweiler/Mastiff, and her little man Oliver, a cat rescue. Working with animals has always been her dream, she is excited and eager to make puppies look their best. She thoroughly enjoys building relationships with her clients and their furry family members. In her spare time she likes to vintage shop and get lost in unsolved mysteries. She can’t wait to meet you and provide the spa day you and your pet desire most.
Jaden
RVT – Groomer
Jaden is a quiet and compassionate animal lover who knew she wanted to work with animals at a very young age.
She graduated the Veterinary technician program in 2020 and soon after joined puppy charm. She is very gentle and kind to all animals as she always had an interest in grooming and decided to join our team after graduating. She has a lovely beagle named Toby which she rescued from the Veterinary technician program when she attended, and a Bichon named Tilly who is subjected to all her fun and funky grooming creativities. In her off time she enjoys hanging out with her fur children and getting lost in her books.
Kaitlyn
RVT – Groomer
Kaitlyn is a quiet and calm person who enjoys the simple things in life.
She loves hiking and camping, finding joy in the great outdoors, and she has a passion for art that allows her to express her creativity. Before becoming a groomer, she worked as a veterinarian technician for several years, gaining valuable experience in animal care and handling. Kaitlyn trained under Chantelle here at Puppy Charm, where she honed in on her grooming skills and continues to perfect the craft. In her downtime, she loves to spend time with her husband and four-legged family, making memories and enjoying their company.
Alysia
Doggie Daycare Manager
Alysia has always had a deep love for animals, with a special place in her heart for dogs.
Growing up in the country, her family always had dogs of all sizes, from a Great Pyrenees to a chihuahua. Now she has three terriers of her own- Mowgli, Tucker and Pippin. Her dogs often join her at work where they help other dogs settle in and join in the fun. Previously Alysia spent several years training under the Ontario Dog Trainer, Karen Laws, where she learned training methods and how to read dog body language. She looks forward to continuing to grow as a trainer. She loves to meet all the pups and make sure they have a fun, safe, and enriching experience during their time with us.
Stephanie
Animal Care Attendant
Stephanie is a passionate and dedicated daycare attendant and bather.
She has a deep love for all breeds. With previous corporate experience, she has honed her skills in animal care, including knowledge of pet behaviour, needs and their well being. Stephanie is committed to creating a safe and enjoyable environment for the dogs, whether it’s through fun daycare activities or soothing baths. One of Stephanie’s key roles is creating engaging and enriching activity calendars for the dog daycare, ensuring that each day is filled with stimulating and fun experiences for the dogs in our care. Her creativity and organizational skills shine through in her ability to design activities that promote both mental and physical well-being for the dogs. Known for her friendly demeanour and strong customer service, Stephanie builds lasting relationships with both dogs and their owners. .Outside of work, Stephanie enjoys spending quality time with her two husky pups, Shadow and Luna, as well as unwinding with a good book or catching up on her favourite shows.
Hayley
Animal Care Attendant
Hayley is a devoted dog lover and has a lifetime of experience caring for dogs.
Having grown up with dogs always around, Hayley has developed a deep understanding of canine behavior and the joys of building connections with four-legged friends. You can find her in the daycare where her creativity thrives, ensuring each dog’s day is filled with fun, care, and attention. Whether it’s developing new paws and crafts ideas for the dogs to send home or finding unique ways to enrich their time together, she is dedicated to providing a nurturing and playful environment for dogs of all shapes and sizes. Hayley is currently studying Early Childhood Education at St.Clair College, working towards becoming an Educator for Kindergarten/Primary aged children. Don’t worry though, Hayley will ALWAYS find time to come work and play with our furry friends in the daycare! When she is not at work or at school, you can find her snuggling up to her dog Charlie, 14 year old Husky/Lab mix, while watching some good old 90’s Rom Coms or doing some DIY projects to keep her creative mind flowing!
Jordyn
Animal Care Attendant
Jordyn joined the Puppy Charm elite team of care attendants in the spring of 2024.
She has quickly become a standout with her compassionate, nurturing, and joyful personality. She ensures that all our four-legged friends feel at home and at ease. Drawing from her own experience as a dog owner to Tucker, her beloved puggle, Jordyn brings a genuine understanding and love for animals. With years of customer service experience, she’s always ready to greet you with a smile and offer a personalized, friendly connection. Excited to have transitioned into the animal care industry, Jordyn sees it as the perfect fit for her future. In her free time, she enjoys playing hockey and going on adventures with friends and family.
Alyssa
Animal Care Attendant
Alyssa brings experience from both daycare and veterinary settings.
She has developed strong skills in animal care from her previous work experience.
She has always had a deep love for animals of all kinds, growing up with a tiny pet turtle, and is now a proud pet parent to a pug named Pablo and two rescue kittens. Alyssa dreams of one day opening a wildlife rehabilitation center after traveling the world to gain hands-on experience with diverse species. She loves her job at Puppy Charm because it allows her to create meaningful bonds with each dog, ensuring they feel happy, safe, and loved while away from their families. She finds it incredibly rewarding to see their unique personalities, their excitement when they arrive, and to be part of a team that creates a fun and caring environment, making each dog’s day a little brighter.
Lexie
Animal Care Attendant
Lexie is caring, and easy-going and has had a deep love for animals her entire life.
From a young age, she’s always had animals by her side, fostering a lifelong connection with creatures big and small. With a Cane Corso named Zeus and four cats – Loki, Luna, Mucmuc, and Pepsi – her passion for animals is an integral part of her life. Currently, she studies Criminology and Psychology at the University of Windsor. Lexie is also dedicated to supporting victims of crime through her volunteer work at the Ontario Court of Justice. In her downtime, she enjoys crocheting in bed with her cats, unwinding with her favourite music, and diving into video games. Lexie is excited to bring her calm, compassionate nature into her work and connect with others who share a love for animals. She looks forward to meeting you and providing the best care for your furry companions.
